PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) Course consists of a short theoretical study and 5 adventure dives. Please click here for a short intro video. 

 

a) Theory: Upon confirmation of your course reservation, we will assign an eLearning code to you and you will access your course manual from the system while still at home. You will have to read the chapters related to ONLY the dives you will do in your course (ie just 5 sections, not all of them); and you will need to complete the Knowledge Reviews of those sections. As the Deep dive and Underwater Navigation dives are mandatory, it is best if you could read and complete the Knowledge Reviews of these two chapters before coming to Kas; the remaining 3 sections, you can finish here. There is no written exam for this course. 

 

b) 5 x Adventure Dives: Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation Dive are mandatory; you could choose the remaining 3 dives from a list of other PADI adventure dives which includes: 

• Rescue Dive

• Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive

• Night Dive

• Wreck Dive

• Search & Recovery Dive

• Fish Identification Dive

• Boat Dive

• Digital Underwater Imaging

• Drift Dive

• Enriched Air (Nitrox)

• Dive Against Debris 

• Sidemount Dive

We strongly recommend that you select the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive as one of the 3 electives as you will learn several very important skills that you will use for the rest of your diving carreer. You will do all of the AOWD dives from our boat in different dive locations. You will do 2 dives each day of the course.  The course will be completed in 2,5 days. Everyday we meet at 9:00am at the boat and leave at 9:30am for the first dives of the day. You will receive a thorough briefing from your instructor about the training dive you will make, do the dive, then have a debriefing with your instructor. After waiting for at least 1 hour, you will repeat the process at the second location. We return to Kas around 3pm; so you will have your afternoon free for other activities or resting. 

 

Course price:

The price for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is 375 Euros + VAT per person. It includes everything required for you to earn your PADI AOWD certificate: theoretical studies, 5 dives in the open water, boat rides, all diving equipment and gear, all PADI eLearning materials and PADI AOWD certification fees - ie no hidden costs! The only extra expenses will be the cold/hot beverages or similar that you consume during the course. Also, although it is not mandatory, it is a universally accepted practice in the scuba world to give a small tip to the staff if you are satisfied with the quality of service you receive during your time with us. 

 

Bonus:

You will have a %10 discount for your further dives and courses for 1 year, upon completing your course.

 

We have diving packages if you want to continue diving to get some experience after your course. So, after the completion of your course, if you still have several spare days, you could do some fun dives as an advanced diver and enjoy your new limits...

Once you send us a confirmation message with the above mentioned information, we will send you a secure digital link for a 75 euro payment. This is to cover the cost of the eLearning material which is sent directly by PADI International. After you send the prepayment, your digital eLearning materials will be sent to your email address so you can register yourself on the PADI system and start learning.
